Many suppliers advertise \u201cpurity\u201d and display a certificate. But purity is just one of three<\/strong> independent quality criteria. HPLC may show a peptide to have a purity of 99% or higher while it still contains endotoxins or heavy metals, which purity testing does not detect. Only the combination of three separate analyses provides a complete picture.<\/p>\n Every tested batch at AESTX Systems undergoes up to three independent tests. All analyses are performed by Janoshik Analytical<\/strong> \u2014 an independent testing laboratory based in Prague and established within the research community.<\/p>\n High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates the sample into its components and measures the percentage of the target peptide. All AESTX Systems peptides have a target purity of ≥ 99 %<\/strong> . For comparison, scientific literature considers ≥ 95 %<\/strong> to be good and ≥ 98 %<\/strong> to be high purity.<\/p>\n Endotoxins are residues of bacterial cell walls. Standard sterilisation does not destroy them, and they require a dedicated test: the LAL test (Limulus amebocyte lysate), reported in EU\/mg. In research, < 1 EU\/mg<\/strong> is considered a conservative reference value, and < 0,1 EU\/mg<\/strong> for particularly sensitive applications. Detectable trace amounts are normal and reflect the sensitivity of the measurement.<\/p>\n ICP mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) detects even minute quantities of heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium or mercury \u2014 residues that may originate from raw materials or synthesis and are not detected by HPLC. The reference is the ICH Q3D<\/strong>limits for elemental impurities.<\/p>\n The key difference: our Certificates of Analysis are independently verifiable.
